become of somebody/something 某種情況發(fā)生在某人（某物）身上。（=happen to somebody/something)

off 為介詞。離開… 不遠(yuǎn)處；從… 離開，如下車get off the bike, 而不是get down the bike。
3. On his arrival he was sold to a farmer and worked in the field.
On為介詞，表示當(dāng)… 時(shí)后接表示動(dòng)作的名詞，替代一個(gè)狀語從句。
4. They found it strange that no one would take the money.
此句中的it為形式賓語，that 從句為真正的賓語。常用此句型的動(dòng)詞還有think/ feel+it +adj. /n. +that clause/to do something.
