1. Hot chocolate costs about $3.50. 熱巧克力飲料要花3.50美元。

cost表示"花費(fèi)"時(shí)只能用物或事作主語(yǔ)，而不可用人作主語(yǔ)，常用于sth. costs sb. some money或sth. costs some money結(jié)構(gòu)中。如：

The dictionary costs 30 yuan. 這本詞典值三十元錢(qián)。

This sweater costs her 20 dollars. 這件毛衣花了她二十美元。

2. Can you tell me the way to the cinema? 請(qǐng)你告訴我去電影院的路，好嗎？

常用的問(wèn)路方法有以下幾種：

(1) Can you tell / show me the way to the church? 你能告訴我去教堂的路嗎？

(2) Which is the way to North Street Hospital? 請(qǐng)問(wèn)去北街醫(yī)院怎么走？

(3) Where's the ladies' room? 女洗手間在哪？

(4) How can I get to the café? 請(qǐng)問(wèn)去咖啡廳怎么走？

(5) Is there a video store near here? 附近有影碟店嗎？

3. Go down this street. Turn right at the second crossing. 沿著這條街往下走。在第二個(gè)十字路口向右拐。

常用的指路方法有以下幾種：

(1) Go / Walk along / down this road and ... 沿著這條路走......

(2) Turn left at the second crossing. 在第二個(gè)十字路口處往左拐。

(3) Go across the bridge. 穿過(guò)這座橋。

(4) Take the second turning on the left. 在第二個(gè)轉(zhuǎn)彎處左拐。
