一、主語 + doesn't work. 不工作，不運轉。

【考點說明】句中work為不及物動詞，表運轉、工作，助動詞應隨主語的單復數作相應變化。

I bought this radio here, but it doesn't work now.我在這兒買的這臺收音機，但現在不響了。

Something is wrong with the computer, and it doesn't work.這臺電腦出了毛病，無法正常運轉。

【知識串聯】 at work意為"在工作中；（機器）在運轉"；in work意為"有職業(yè)"，與out of work相對。

This machine is at work.這臺機器正在運轉。

I'm glad to hear that you are in work. 我很高興聽到你有工作。

二、 I don't think so. 我不這么認為。

【考點說明】該句型為對某一觀點的否定判斷，so代表上文提及的觀點。

-Do you think it will rain this afternoon? 你認為今天下午會下雨嗎？

-I don't think so. 我不這么認為。

-Will she be late? 她會遲到嗎？

-I don't think so. 我不這么認為。

【知識串聯】 I think not. 意為"我不這么認為"，與I don't think so.用法相同。

-Is she a thief? 她是一個小偷嗎？

-I think not. 我不這么認為。

三、How many ... by ... is it from ...to ... ? 乘......從......到......有多少......？

【考點說明】 該句型為詢問兩地間的距離，How many后面接metres, miles, kilometres等表距離的復數名詞；by后接road, bus, train, sea, water, plane, air等表交通工具的名詞（不用不定冠詞或數詞修飾，也不用復數形式），如果表步行應用on foot; from與to后面接兩個地點名詞。

How many kilometres by train is it from Shanghai to Beijing? 從上海到北京乘火車有多少公里？

How many miles by air is it from London to Paris? 從倫敦到巴黎乘飛機有多少英里？

How many metres on foot is it from the zoo to the park? 從動物園到公園步行有多少米？
