countable nouns & uncountable nouns. 3.Be able to talk freely about the

topic of price. 4.Be able to skim the readings and grasp the main thought.

Projector Teaching process Step 1 Free talk Talk freely with students

about the prices of the things around them , tell them “What’s the price

of …?” is the same as “How much…?” Step 2 look and say Look at the photos

of some food , read and spell them one by one . Lead-in : Where can I buy

these things ? ( vegetable market and fruit market ) Let’s listen to the

tape about shopping . Step 3 Listen and answer Books closed , listen to

the tape and answer the following questions : what does the boy want to

buy? Can he buy them? Step 4 read and act Read after the tape and then

practise it ( in group , in pairs and so on ) . Ask some students to act

it out At last T explains the phrase : and so on Step5 Scene performance

Give the students a new dialogue and ask them to fill in the blanks . Then

give them a similar situation to ask them to make a dialogue . Step 6

Conclusion Students draw a conclusion of what have they learned in this

lesson . Step 7 Consolidation Do some exercises in class .( in addition )
