To whom it may concern,
This is my personal recommendation for Sue Su, who has been one of my most impressing students. Not only as the teacher who has taught her for four years in English Culture and Civilization, but also as a leader who accompanied them to the debate competition several times, I am fairly familiar with her.
Our first impression of a person can be completely wrong. I used to consider her as a quiet and extremely diligent student. Because at the beginning of my class, Sue, who is such a bitsy girl, sits quietly in the first row with a pair of pensive and thoughtful eyes. It seems that there is nothing special about her. However, one day when we came to the chapter Different Gender Roles in English Society, I asked whether there was anyone who would like to share their views. Much of a surprise, she raised up her hands and volunteered herself. And more surprisingly, she is such a good lecturer as long as she steps on the stage. Obviously, she has made full preperation and consulted into a lot of books and periodicals. She shared her opinions on women’s position in the modern world. And for the first time, I knew she was such a strong supporter of feminism.
Later I was invited to be the teacher who is responsible for leading her association, which is one of the best and most influential associations in our university. I could still remember that she braved the storm in order to organize the weekly train in debate skills. As a matter of fact, she shows a strong sense of responsibility out of her affection for debate and current affairs. Consequently, I would prefer to regard her as a student with a broad view of the world and society. In addition, regarding that she has won the top prize in the CCTV English Speech Competition in Tianjin and in the Debate Competition for Tianjin University students, she has a good command of English. I believe she will easily blend in a new culture and bring honor for you.
Diligent as she is, Sue is by no means a monotonous and frivolous student who knows only about study. As we all know, she is such an execellent singer who has been endowed with a wonderful voice. She is best at performing as Adele and everytime she sings we enjoy a feast for our ears.
On the other hand, she is known to her classmates and our staffs all that she is so warm-hearted and eager to offer assistance to people in need of help. Once one of her classmates fell ill, Sue kept her accompany and took care of her patiently and considerately. So she is welcomed by all ofher classmates and her teachers.
I highly recommend Sue as one of your students. She is such a creative learner who will surely be of great assistance to your university. If you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me, I would like to shed light on her profile and provide objective information for you.
