我的暑期生活(My Summer Vacation)
During the summer vacation, I think I should do something interesting and meaningful rather than touring. So I found a job at a fast food restaurant and worked there as a cleaner. I worked eight hours a day for three weeks. This job was boring and seemed endless, which made me so tired that I nearly stopped it half way. But, I stuck to it with determination. Every day I started to work early in the morning and got home late in the evening. Finally, I finished the job before the new school term. Now, I realize what labor means. I think it is really a successful experience, which is worth remembering forever.
暑假期間，我想我應(yīng)該做一些比旅游更有趣和有意義的事。所以我找了一份快餐店清潔工的工作，在這三周的時(shí)間里我每天工作八個(gè)小時(shí)。這個(gè)工作很無(wú)聊而 且似乎沒(méi)完沒(méi)了，這使我非常累，我?guī)缀踉谥型疽艞壛�。但是，我決心要堅(jiān)持，我每天清晨開(kāi)始工作和傍晚回家。最后，在新學(xué)期前，我完成了工作�，F(xiàn)在，我明 白了勞動(dòng)的意義。我認(rèn)為這是一次成功的體驗(yàn)，這是值得永遠(yuǎn)記住的。
我的爸爸(My Father)
My father is a tall man with a pair of glasses. Everyone says he is a kind-hearted man. He often helps his neighbours and some strangers whom he doesnt know at all. He has really done a lot for others. I dont like him to do so because I think it has taken him too much time. When I discourage him, he always says with a smile,The world needs warm hearts. My father loves his family, and loves his work even better. In the company, he is called workaholic He spends most of his time working, and often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.As a result,he doesnt enjoy good health. My father likes reading in his spare time. He told me reading was very interesting. I became interested in reading little by little. I like books, because they help me in many ways. My father has a bad habit he likes smoking very much. I hate it. See, the house is full of smoke. I know its bad for his health as well as mothers and mine. I advise him to give up smoking. Im sure he will follow my advice some day. Such is my father. I am proud of having such a good father.
我的爸爸 我的爸爸個(gè)子高高的，戴著一副眼鏡。大家都說(shuō)他是個(gè)好心腸的人。他經(jīng)常幫鄰居排憂解難，對(duì)于一些他壓根不認(rèn)識(shí)的陌生人，他也總是盡力相助。他為別人真是付 出了許多許多。我不愿意他這么做，因?yàn)檫@花費(fèi)了他太多的時(shí)間。每當(dāng)我勸阻他時(shí)，爸爸總是笑著說(shuō)：“世界需要熱心腸嘛!” 爸爸熱愛(ài)家庭，更注重事業(yè)，公司里的人都叫他“工作狂”。他把大部分時(shí)間都用于工作，為工作他常常廢寢忘食。過(guò)度的勞累使他的健康狀況欠佳。 爸爸閑暇時(shí)愛(ài)讀書(shū)。他告訴我，讀書(shū)很有趣。我漸漸地對(duì)讀書(shū)產(chǎn)生了興趣。我愛(ài)上了書(shū)，因?yàn)闀?shū)對(duì)我?guī)椭艽蟆?爸爸有個(gè)壞習(xí)慣——太愛(ài)吸煙。我不喜歡他抽煙。瞧，家里充滿了煙味。我知道吸煙有害他的健康，對(duì)我和媽媽也有害無(wú)益。我建議他戒煙。我相信總有一天他會(huì)這 么做的。 這就是我的爸爸，我為有這樣的好爸爸而自豪。
