表達(dá)第一樓美國(guó)人和英國(guó)人的說(shuō)法不一樣的：

　　美國(guó)人第一樓是說(shuō)The first floor 第二樓是說(shuō) The second floor

　　But,英國(guó)人說(shuō)第一樓是 the ground floor ，第二樓是The first floor

　　為什么英國(guó)人說(shuō)第一樓是說(shuō)The ground floor ：原因是英國(guó)人認(rèn)為第一樓要跟地面平齊，這里ground 英 [grand] 地面，所以The ground floor 表示第一樓，以此類推。

　　(備注這是英語(yǔ)文化差異，如果去英國(guó)旅行這個(gè)一定要搞清楚，否則去第一樓你會(huì)在第二樓下，還要走一次樓梯才能到地面）

　　舉個(gè)例子：

　　我的房間在二樓

　　美國(guó)人這樣表達(dá)：My room is on the second floor

　　英國(guó)人這樣表達(dá)：My room is on the first floor

　　跟英國(guó)人聊天聽(tīng)到My room is on the first floor 千萬(wàn)不要理解為我房間在第一層，免得陷入尷尬局面
