君不見， Behold Not Thou

黃河之水天上來，The Yellow River down from the high sky surging,

奔流到海不復(fù)回!Never returns, down to sea, flushing and flowing!

君不見，Behold Not Thou

高堂明鏡悲白發(fā)，F(xiàn)or my white hair in high halls’ bright mirrors I moan,

朝如青絲暮成雪!As if turning snow-white at dusk from black at dawn!

人生得意須盡歡，Ever seize revelry when thou art in high noon!

莫使金樽空對月。Never leave thy gold goblet empty to the moon!

天生我才必有用，Talents bestowed by Heaven are born for good use;

千金散盡還復(fù)來。Thousands of gold and coins spent would stream in profuse.

烹羊宰牛且為樂，Cook a lamb and kill a cow just for the rejoice;

會須一飲三百杯。Drink up three hundred cupfuls of wine in high voice.

岑夫子， Lo, Chen, my Master!

丹丘生，Lo, Danqiu, my friend!

將進(jìn)酒，Cheer up and bottoms up!

杯莫停。Never put down thy cups!

與君歌一曲，F(xiàn)or thee, let me sing a song;

請君為我傾耳聽。To me, lend thy ears along!

鐘鼓玉不足貴，Bells, drums and delicacies never do I ache,

但愿長醉不覺醒。And yet I would rather become dead drunk than wake.

古來圣賢皆寂寞，Solitary sages have been since ancient times,

惟有飲者留其名。While great drinkers have been renowned all the times.

陳王昔時宴平樂，The Prince of yore held in his palace feasts decent.

斗酒十千恣歡謔。Ten thousand coins a cask were for the spree spent.

主人何為言少錢，How can a host proclaim to be short of the coins?

徑須沽取對君酌。Let me proceed to get more for our enjoyings.

五花馬，The dappled horse to be sold,

千金裘，The fur garment worth gold,

呼兒將出換美酒，Calling my son to trade them for the wine mellow,

與爾同銷萬古愁。With thee I would drown away the age-old sorrow.
