　　I want to be a teacher when I listen to my teacher carefully. I think I canbe a teacher when I grow up.

　　I can help many students learn things well. I can play with my students,too. So we are good friends. I want to be a doctor when I see many doctors savetheir patients. To be a doctor is really great. I think I can be a doctor when Igrow up.

　　Then I can help many people out of danger. I will be the happiest girl inthe world. I want to be a reporter when I watch TV every evening. We can getlots of important information from them. They make the world smaller and alsomake us happy. I would like to be a reporter when I grow up.

　　And I can learn a lot about China and the other countries around the world.I can meet many superstars as well. I have lots of dreams. I think my dreams cancome true one day, because there’s an old saying “where there is a will, thereis a way.”

　　Youth is not only a certain time of your life; also it is the shape of yourmind. It is not only bright eyes, sweet smiles, nice voices, supple bodies, butalso it is the way that you think and act. It is an impetus that thrills you togo further and a spring can wash the dirt away in your deep deep heart.

　　None of you will merely get older by the lapse of years, but easily getanile by the caducity in your mind. You can never judge a person’s age only byits appearance.

　　I have to say it’s really unadvisable. Time can wrinkle your skin, loosenyour teeth, but that feature doesn’t mean you are old. The decline in vigor withthe passing of time is the exact meaning of ageing, while not the fading faces.Similarly, youth does not only mean the red lips, rosy cheeks, it is theattitude you keep. So, it is not strange that a person with an age of 80, whilewe can still regard her as a lovely girl.

　　Youth is invisible, how can you hold it? I have seen a sentence from aChinese article. It says that 2 things can keep your youth, one is love, theother is a beneficial book. Love makes you ignore the passing of time. An80-year-old woman who had been married over 50 years said: I think I am stillyoung, like a girl, I know he, my husband loves me, just like what he did 50years before. You see, that’s the magic power of love. A beneficial book is likea loyal friend who plays an important role in your life. You can talk to himanytime you want, and he will stand beside you for ever, never escape, or leaveyour behind alone.
