As can be seen from the charts, China's higher education, with the rapid growth of its GDP (gross domestic product), is also developing very fast. There were only about 110 thousand college students when New China was bornin 1949, while the number hit 3.5 million 50 years later in 1998. And what impresses us most is the college recruitment of 1999--1.56 million, which is 44% higher than that of the previous year--1.08 million in 1998.
Several factors contribute to the booming of China's higher education. First, China's rapid economic develop ment lays the base. In 1952, China's GDP was only 67.9 billion yuan. In 1998, the figure soared to 7.94 trillion. Second, the Chinese government, counting on education to be another force to significantly further its economy, has made a series of preferential policies to quicken the development of higher education. One of the measures taken, for example, is the widening of college recruit ment starting from 1999.
Seeing the education boost today, I have every reason to look forward to a still brighter future for China's higher education. I'm sure China will continue to in crease college enrollment in the years to come.

Family love is what everyone longs for. It has a great influence on our personal development. If we are from a happy family that is full of love, we tend to be cheerful and optimistic. If we are brought up in a family without love, we may grow up miserable and pessimistic. If we are not loved by our family, we may not learn to love others. For a happy family should be full of love.
An ideal family should be a place where we can get warmth, help, comfort and strength. These are all family love. It should also be a source of laughter, as laughter is a good means to solve the tension and pressure we all face every day. A family should be where we cultivate our self-confidence, which is crucial to our further development and to our mental health. All these need is family love.
Since family love plays a very important role in our life, it is up to every family member to contribute to the building of such a family. We are supposed to be
considerate and understanding. We should love and show concern for each other. We are supposed to strive to establish a family that is full of love. After all, if every family is full of love, the whole society will be full of love.
Friendship love
Friendship is necessary for us. They play an important role in our daily life. As the saying goes, where there is a friend, there is strength.

Some people may forsake their friends in favor of money or power. That's absolutely wrong. You should know that money and power are temporary and that friends are everlasting .That should be everyone's creed. To me, without friends,I am nothing.

Amatory love
Throughout history, people describe the most love is amatorylove.
Amatory love means that I know the person I love. I'm aware of the many sides of the other person — not just the beautiful side but also the limitations, inconsistencies and faults. I have an awareness of the other's feelings and thoughts, and I experience something of the core of that person. I can penetrate social masks and roles and see the other person on a deeper level.
Amatory love means that I care about the welfare of the person I love. To the extent that it is genuine, my caring is not possessive, nor does it hold the other person back. On the contrary, my caring frees both of us. If I care about you, I'm concerned about your growth, and I hope you will become all that you can become. Consequently, I don't put up obstacles to what you do that enhances you as a person, even though it may result in my discomfort at times.
Amatory love means having respect for the dignity of the person I love. If I love you, I can see you as a separate person, with your own values and thoughts and feelings, and I do not insist that you surrender your identity to match an image of what I expect you to be for me. I can allow and encourage you to stand alone and to be who you are, and I avoid treating you as an object or using you primarily to satisfy my own needs.
