　　The 21st CENTURY speech contest was held on Friday afternoon in the lecture hall, Gaoxin

　　Campus. It was great. Each grade in our school had a speech contest. Eighteen candidates from Grade Six took part in it. The first three winners would go to the next grade.

　　All of the speakers prepared well for the speech. When the contest began, some of the speakers were very nervous as they were giving speech to the audience.

　　The thing that made me shocked was, when the speakers were giving a speech and the fellow students were so quiet that you could hear the speakers clearly. When our class speakers went up, our whole class was cheering, it was crazy. The speakers delivered their speeches very fluently that I couldn’t even do it so good.

　　I remember all of the speakers talked about their parents. They said all of the good things about their parents, but no one said their flaws. But I think everyone has already done a great job. They all did their best.

　　Congratulations to all the candidates on their excellent jobs. I hope all of them will do better and better in the future.

So when I went to school, I joined the basketball team in my class, we made up of a basketball team. Last week, we had our first match.

　　I was asked to play in the first time, I felt so nervous, I am so afraid that I could not cooperate with my team well. When the match started, I watched the basketball and moved as the ball flied, I forgot my job, I was asked to cover the team leader. I recognized my mistake, I changed my move, at last, I covered our captain successfully, our team won the game.

　　I learned so much from this match, team work comes first.

　　好激動��！明天就是英語比賽了！晚上我一直睡不著，一直在想那里漂不漂亮，評委好不好，我在那里一直在想。三個(gè)字：睡不著！

　　終于到了這一天英語口語大賽，我急忙起床，洗好臉，吃完飯，準(zhǔn)備好東西出發(fā)，我在車上看了一路的風(fēng)景，老師說：“一個(gè)小時(shí)就到了，請大家耐心坐車。”終于到達(dá)汽車站，我們排好隊(duì)伍向比賽場地走去。一到比賽場地，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我們竟然是第一個(gè)到比賽地的學(xué)校！

　　好興奮啊！老師抽了幾個(gè)牌子，我是50號所以我比較慢才輪到，前面幾個(gè)同學(xué)回來告訴我：“哇，那個(gè)加拿大的外教真好，對著我們一直微微地笑。”終于輪到我了，我用眼瞥了一眼外教，發(fā)現(xiàn)他總是笑咪咪的`看著我。我想起來之前老師給我打氣的話，瞬間就覺得不再緊張了，我的演講順順利利就結(jié)束了�；貋砗�，我很興奮，一直在說外教和評委，我好開心地和同學(xué)玩起了游戲，等所有的同學(xué)比賽完了，大家才戀戀不舍的離開了比賽場地。后來，老師還帶我們?nèi)ト脴涔珗@，那里的風(fēng)景美極了，綠樹成蔭，許多市民在那里游玩，散步、下棋。

　　T:Welcome to the final of the 5th English speaking contest of Jianghan University. L : 本次大賽由江漢大學(xué)讀者協(xié)會舉辦，從三月初到現(xiàn)在，經(jīng)過層層篩選，八位選手從數(shù)百名選手中脫穎而出，來到我們決賽現(xiàn)場。

　　T : This contest is organized by the Readers Association of Jianghan University. 8 prominent contestants have distinguished themselves in the preliminary and intermediate contests.

　　Now I would like to introduce the rules for the contest

　　Today's competition has two phases: The first phase is a 5 minutes’ speech show, which composes 60% of the score. In this part, the contestants are supposed to make a 3 minutes’ impromptu speech according to the topics , and then they will answer the questions raised by our judges, and the time limit is 2 minutes.

　　And the second phase is the role play of each contestant, which takes 40% of the final score. Every one of them will be given 5 minutes to display their role they selected beforehand.

　　After the performance by the contestants, our judges will give fair judgment according to the comprehensive performance of each contestant. We will have one champion, two second prizes winners, three third prize and the rest contestants will get the Excellence Award. I wish all of them achieve a lot, and have good luck.

　　今天早晨七點(diǎn)鐘，我就起床了。上午，我要去參加“蘇報(bào)杯”。

　　八點(diǎn)一刻，我來到了考試地點(diǎn)——胥江實(shí)驗(yàn)中學(xué)。我很快就找到了我的考場。我到考場的時(shí)候，很多人都來了。我先簽到，然后就去找座位了。我發(fā)現(xiàn)我們的座位竟然是可以隨便坐的。我找了一個(gè)靠邊的位子，坐下等待考試的.開始。

　　鈴聲響了，監(jiān)考的志愿者把試卷和草稿紙發(fā)給了我們。我拿到試卷后，先審題。這次考試一共要寫兩篇文章，第一篇是看圖寫對話，要求不少于八句話。我很快就寫完了。

　　第二篇文章是讓我們談?wù)勎覀兝硐胫械闹苣?20個(gè)詞左右。正好類似的文章我前幾天就寫過，我的印象還很深刻。我寫完后，時(shí)間還很多，我就數(shù)了數(shù)我的詞數(shù)，一共167個(gè)。接著，我檢查了一下我的單詞有沒有拼錯(cuò)，有沒有語法錯(cuò)誤。

　　九點(diǎn)半到了，我就交了卷子，離開了考場。

　　今天我們到青龍中學(xué)（六中）去參加雙語比賽，我到了以后發(fā)現(xiàn)同學(xué)們差不多已經(jīng)都到齊了。然后我們便自己準(zhǔn)備起了英語短文，這樣可以等待還沒有來的同學(xué)。等到同學(xué)們都來齊了，Ms yu便帶領(lǐng)我們進(jìn)去了。校園里邊特別漂亮，噴泉花壇、全塑膠跑道、參天大樹還有整齊的教學(xué)樓，我們帶隊(duì)的同學(xué)竟然被這美麗的風(fēng)景迷住了，差一點(diǎn)兒就帶著同學(xué)們走到操場上。但是幸虧Ms yu叫住了我們，然后我們圍成一個(gè)圈表演，李曉曷第一個(gè)，她上去以后背的非�？於抑形臎]背就想下去，被Ms yu一下退了回去背了中文，我是第二個(gè)上去的，我表情自如，動作加的非常到位但是Ms yu說我聲音太小，語速太快。

　　終于工作人員過來說：“B組的同學(xué)比賽了，B組的趕緊過來！”我們排成兩隊(duì)走到大廳，然后工作人員點(diǎn)名，我是第6個(gè)。我們按順序排好隊(duì)后，就走進(jìn)了初一九班，然后抽簽按順序號入座我15號、梅笑寒14號、宋淑涵13號和陳玥琦17號我覺得真的是太有緣了，第一組開始比賽了，是1—10號比賽。所以我們又等了漫長的幾十分鐘，終于輪到我們比賽了，我們進(jìn)入了比賽場地，這時(shí)我看到了一個(gè)男老師，兩個(gè)女老師，和一個(gè)女外教。夏侯楊子先上，他一上場就問了老師幾個(gè)問題特別搞笑，然后才開始背的……，終于到了我上場了，我站的筆直背的.英文流利，中文標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，聲音洪亮的都可以聽見回音了，外教的問題也都全部答對了。所有的參賽選手都答的非常好，我們就退場了，我們出來以后Ms yu緊張的問我們答的怎么樣？我們都說答的很好，聽了我們的回答她的臉上露出了滿意的笑容…………等過了漫長的1個(gè)小時(shí)，成績出來了，我得了97分！全組（35人）第一名！我當(dāng)時(shí)心里非常高興：我今天能取得這么優(yōu)異的成績，和Ms yu平時(shí)的辛勤輔導(dǎo)是分不開的，在這里我要感謝Ms yu！

　　希望我在復(fù)賽中，繼續(xù)取得優(yōu)異的成績！
