端午節(jié)是為了紀(jì)念中國(guó)偉大的愛國(guó)詩人屈原，是農(nóng)歷五月初五。
端午節(jié)有吃粽子和賽龍舟的.習(xí)俗。粽子是一種用竹葉或蘆葦葉包成棱形的狀的飯團(tuán)子。我們將艾蒿放在門上辟邪，艾蒿還有驅(qū)除蚊蟲的作用。
端午節(jié)給兒童纏七色線，一直要戴到節(jié)后第一次下雨才解下來扔在雨水里。
Dragon Boat Festival/Duanwu Festival
The festival is to commemorate a great patriotic poet of China—— Qu Yuan. It falls on the fifth day of the fifth month in lunar calendar.
There is the customs of eating Zongzi and racing dragon-boat on Dragon Boat Festival. Zongzi is a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves to give it a special flavor. We put mugwort on the door to ward off evil, and it has insect repellent function.
Children wear bracelet made by seven colored strings until the first rain after the festival, they should throw the strings into puddle.

We sing moon songs and we make moon cakes. We eat moon cake ,it’s very nice .After, we watch TV and have a big family dinner. Then we play “Bobing” games. Look at this one. This is Spring Festival. In the morning, we clean our house. We wear new clothes, and we visit our grandparents. And we say “Happy New Year” to everyone. At night, we have a big dinner.We watch TV . This is Lantern Festival. In the morning, we clean our house, too. And we go to buy lots of lanterns. At night, we eat yuanxiao and watch TV. We play lanterns games and go to see dragon dance. Dragon dance is very famous and beautiful. We like these festivals very much.,

Happy Holiday
May Day is coming. I'm so happy because my father and my mother take me to Wu Quan Park this holiday.
In the park, I see many trees and beautiful flowers. There are many children and many happy playing games, too.
My parents take me to the zoo. There are lions, tigers, eagles, bears, deer, monkeys, and so on. I like the monkeys best because they are very clever and they make us laugh. How lovely they are!
I have a good time that day. What a beautiful and happy holiday.
