An activity about low carbon living
Currently,my school is launching an activity whose theme is that actions change the world to advocate the low carbon living.
In the activity,we are required to go to school or some other place by bike or by foot as much as possible instead of by bus.And when the Christmas comes,sending e-greeting cards instead of tridional cards of which are made of wood as we know.Besides,we should use both sides of every piece of paper and we should save water as well as electricity.
I believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.
There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.
To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

目前，我校正在開展一項活動，主題是改變世界倡導(dǎo)低碳生活。

近年來，環(huán)境保護仍存在許多問題。其中最嚴重的問題是空氣、水和土壤的嚴重污染。污染的空氣對人們的健康有害。被污染的水會導(dǎo)致疾病和死亡。而且，隨著現(xiàn)代城市的迅速發(fā)展，植被也大大減少了。
為了保護環(huán)境，許多國家的政府已經(jīng)做了很多。已采取立法措施控制空氣污染，保護森林和海洋資源，制止任何環(huán)境污染。因此，政府在當今環(huán)境保護中扮演著最重要的角色。廣告：獲勝。
在我看來，為了保護環(huán)境，政府必須采取更具體的.措施。首先，應(yīng)該讓人們充分認識到環(huán)境保護的重要性，通過教育。第二，要更加努力把人口規(guī)劃政策付諸實施，因為更多的人意味著更多的人意味著更多的污染。最后，那些故意破壞環(huán)境的人應(yīng)該受到嚴懲。我們應(yīng)該讓他們知道破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自己。
