一、全球化趨勢(shì)明顯，英語(yǔ)已成為一項(xiàng)重要的技能，為與老外交流，必學(xué)；
二、英語(yǔ)是可以學(xué)，但不能提升到高于中文的高度，不能本末倒置。
我覺得兩種意見有有理，因?yàn)槌忠庖娙藢W(xué)英語(yǔ)的目的不同，所以難免各有所見。但我更偏向于第一種。就我個(gè)人來(lái)說(shuō)，理由有三。
首先我喜歡美景，尤其是那地中海柔軟的沙灘、明媚的陽(yáng)光，和愛琴海湛藍(lán)的海水以及那撲面而來(lái)的浪漫氣息，多么令人陶醉。所以為了能順利地在國(guó)外溜達(dá)，學(xué)好英語(yǔ)是十分必要的。要是能結(jié)交個(gè)黃發(fā)碧眼的俊男美女，那豈不是更過(guò)癮？！
我想我現(xiàn)在學(xué)英語(yǔ)是比較吃力的，因?yàn)槲乙呀?jīng)過(guò)了學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言的最好年齡了。究其原因，因?yàn)槲业母改覆痪ㄓ⒄Z(yǔ)。所以啊，為了將來(lái)我的'下一代，我必須得好好努力，學(xué)好英語(yǔ)，從小對(duì)他（她）進(jìn)行雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)。然后我就培養(yǎng)出一個(gè)大人才，哈哈……打住，又做白日夢(mèng)了。以上是我學(xué)英語(yǔ)的目的之二。
這第三點(diǎn)，其實(shí)是最重要的一點(diǎn)——上大學(xué)。現(xiàn)在英語(yǔ)也是中、高考中的一個(gè)“重地”了。眾所周知，在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中取得重地便能有效制敵，取得先機(jī)。在考場(chǎng)上也是如此，英語(yǔ)可有150分啊，我怎么能讓這1/5的分值從我指中溜走呢？我“寒窗苦讀”了十多年，不就是想考個(gè)好高中、好大學(xué)嗎？為了不被擠下“獨(dú)木橋”，我必須學(xué)好英語(yǔ)。
