　　Each coin has two sidesit brings us benefits to people. It is convenient for us to have some fast food. it brings us danger.The more junk food you eat, the unheathier you will be. And the junk food may increase the risk of disease and other kinds of health problems. We should pay closer attention to our health. Instead of having junk food, eat more fruits and vegetables which contain more vitamins.

　　2. To introduce my favourite sport

　　I am an active girl, and I like playing sports very much. My favourite sport is swimming. Today my topic is To introduce my favourite sport. When I am swimming in the pool, I am very happy. I look like a lovely fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming, because swimming can make me strong and healthy. It can also bring me a lot of happiness.

　　I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer holidays. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. 　　4. An interesting thing

　　It is impossible to recall all the past, but I can assure you that my childhood is a pleasant one to me.

　　When I was in kinder garden, I was very popular with my playmates because of my naughtiness. Once I made an arrow, with which I hurt one of my playmates and received scolding from my mother afterwards.

　　When I grew up, my father and mother dare not allow me to play outside. But sometimes when we had time they would bring me to the parks, movies and went swimming.

　　I like swimming very much. Thank them for teaching me swimming. I like to play with my friends because I was only a girl. My mother often scolded me when I didn't get home after school but never too severely.

　　I love my parents. I do think it is one of the best years in my whole life.

　　5. My best friend

　　Lily is my close friend who I came to know in No.2 Middle School.

　　She is a teacher. She gave me a sharp impression when we met at the first time. Through chatting, we found that we have many common favorites, and finally we came to be friends.

　　Lily is tall and slender with white skin, long-black hair and a blue-frame glasses. She looks beautiful and graceful. She has good characters of considerate and gentle. So she is easy to get along with.

　　Lily is good at singing and dancing. She also has many other favorites, such as swimming outdoors, reading, surfing and so on. So she is a modern and intellectual young girl with diverse abilities and knowledge.

　　It was the last day of the sports meet. At about three o＇clock in the afternoon, there came a voice from the speaker:“Next item is the girl＇s 400-metre relay race. Runners please get everything ready!”O(jiān)n hearing this, the four girl runners of our class, Helen, Jane, Nora and Dinah, gathered quickly by the track and did some warming-up exercises①. With strong determination, Dinah said to her teammates, “We should win honour for our class and put up a good show.” After some time, teams from six other classes were entered. “On your marks,”the starter ② ordered. Then came the pistol shot③. At the sound of it, the first runners shot from their starting points. Many eyes turned to a thin sixteen-year-old girl named Helen who started very fast and became the first one. Soon the second runners already moving, grabbed ④ the sticks and raced on. Nora, the third runner had the stick and took the lead. Already running, Dinah reached for the stick. She was flying three or four steps ahead of the others. Dinah urged herself, “Faster! Faster!” We cheered for her, shouting at the top of our voice. Bit by bit, she pulled quite ahead. It was too late for the others to close the gap and we all sighed with relief. At the finishing line, Dinah was the first one that reached the end.

　　At that moment, nothing would have been more exciting. We laughed, shouted, and we were very proud of our heroines ⑤. We praised them for their good team work⑥.

　　When we at last received our certificate of award⑦, everyone in our class was smiling a happy smile. Though it was different from the champion of Olympic Games ⑧, we all thought that it was no less exciting.

　　今天，我參加了中央電視臺希望之星英語風采大賽山東省德州賽區(qū)的復賽，可真謂難上加難，勢比登天，真是上刀山下火海，難得不得了。但是即使這樣，我也沒灰心，反而振作了起來，用微笑和笑容迎接比賽�？粗渌x手站在那里不知所措，緊張的不得了，我感覺他們真令人可悲。我相信，這些選手肯定在家練了不下百回，但到臺上卻瞠目結舌，“臺詞”也忘得一干二凈了，只見他們站在那里，就像一個個泥雕，仿佛著名雕塑家羅丹的大作。但這不是比雕塑，而是比英語才能的發(fā)揮水平，比的'是英語口語。我作為一名普通的選手，看著就感覺苦笑不得。

　　雖然你不可能要求每一名選手都做到臨危不懼這四個字，但也不能像老鼠遇上貓一樣膽戰(zhàn)心驚，雙腿直發(fā)抖，不敢正視評委，把評委看成了高高在上的大法官，而把自己比成了即將被判刑的重刑犯。這些選手的滑稽“表演”，絲毫沒影響到我。時間飛逝，當評委大聲喊到張家泰三個字時，我一愣，隨即從容大方的走上講臺，侃侃而談起來，我把事先準備好的英語作文朗誦，我感覺我的英語作文就像洪水咆哮般涌來，富有激情和熱情，我越說越興奮，越說越高興，仿佛這不是一場比賽，而是游樂園，使我沒有壓力。接下來的環(huán)節(jié)我表現(xiàn)依然best。但結束后，我對自己充滿了信心，確信一定能進半決賽，接著進入那匪夷所思的決賽，并在決賽中勝出。

　　今年的英語歌謠比賽，從各班的保密程度及互相打探軍情的狀況，可以得知大家無不摩拳擦掌，希望奪下冠軍寶座。我們班也不例外，老師利用了音樂、體育課程，不斷緊鑼密鼓地練習，希望再度拿到好成績。

　　時間不斷地逼進，再過三天就要英語歌謠比賽了，同學們賣力地練習著跳舞、唱歌，一遍又一遍，此起彼落的歌聲回蕩在教室中，彷彿在訴說著我們有多么努力、認真。

　　回想起這幾個星期來，從選歌曲到編舞，每一個人絞盡腦汁地設計動作，努力練習歌曲的練唱著。一開始練舞蹈動作時狀況百出，有人像是木頭人般毫無韻律感；有人則是節(jié)拍總跟不上；有些人懶散甚至渾水摸魚，急得老師跳腳。大家總是等老師氣到臉紅脖子粗，如同火山爆發(fā)地破口大罵時，才一改懶散的態(tài)度嚴陣以待。

　　而媽媽在比賽這段時間，常常四處奔波只為了幫我們找尋適合歌曲的造型。有時我會陪媽媽一起去買材料，沒想到常常在車上一等就是好幾個小時。因媽媽對任何事都要求完美。他一直很在意每一個小細節(jié)，在家中總拿我當人形模特兒，讓我試穿各類型的衣服，只為了表現(xiàn)歌曲本身的精隨。有一次，下著滂沱大雨，媽媽一樣堅持要到后火車站找尋配件，她說她希望每個同學都有最獨一無二的'造型，并為我們留下美好的回憶。當時，我知道自己不能再懶散了，看著媽媽辛苦的付出，也讓我學會了“歡喜做，甘愿受”的道理。

　　這幾天我也不斷地苦練吉他，希望把每一個音節(jié)修正到位。媽媽更是千萬叮囑地請吉他老師幫我試音、調音。希望在我們比賽時，我精湛的電吉它飆音技巧能為我們班的歌曲做一完美開場，在評審心中留下深刻的印象。

　　又到了三月底，當老師詢問我是否要去參加央視的希望英語比賽時，我并沒有像上次那樣推脫，而是淡淡地答應。一瞬間，種種交雜著苦與樂的回憶涌上心頭，而我明白，這令我又愛又恨的英語大賽，又將成為一個與眾不同的挑戰(zhàn)。

　　去年的三月底，英語培訓班的老師也曾問我相同的問題。從來不愛出風頭的我，雖然極不情愿，但還是被大家拉著去報了名。至此，令我難忘的訓練時光緩緩拉開了序幕。

　　每天晚上七點的培訓，令我只能一放學扒幾口飯菜丟下書包就跑。那是是畢業(yè)班，放學晚，培訓地點又遠，真是沒辦法。第一輪只是筆試因此訓練就是不停滴做題，然后聽老師講長篇大論的解題技巧，相當無聊。上完課，就得趕緊回家，趕完學習哦啊的作業(yè)，別提有多累了。而復賽的準備更是復雜：寫演講稿、背稿，準備回答評委的問題，還要不停修改稿子，研究語調、動作、發(fā)音。這，還算是簡單的------道理后期，才藝表演、抽單詞顯示編故事、首字母故事接龍、模擬清靜等各種項目五花八門地向你拋去，真不知該怎么辦才好，只得無奈地感嘆“時間都去哪兒了”。

　　籌備一段時間以后，比賽正式開始，抱著半推半就的'心情，我聽過了筆試。復賽演講那天，臺下黑壓壓一片全是人，選手們都很有經驗，真叫我自愧不如。懷著緊張的心情我上了臺，勉勉強強完成任務，還算機智地回答了問題。雖然自己不是很滿意，但結果竟然是我進入了廈門市決賽。后面賽事也是如此，在福建省省賽的半決賽中自以為表現(xiàn)并不十分出色，但總算是完成了任務，而且奇跡般地晉級了了！在省賽的決賽中，我敗下陣來來，由于并不十分在意結果，我也沒有太失望。

　　話雖如此，在這一段經歷中我的確得到鍛煉和收獲。從剛開始的緊張、勉強到最后的泰然自若，令我明白凡是都要經過歷練、方能熟能生巧；從剛開始時間的緊急、慌亂到后來的從容，告訴我時間需要安排；從剛開始的孤身奮戰(zhàn)到最后前仆后繼的“戰(zhàn)友“陪伴，讓我收獲了友情與樂趣。培訓也許是痛苦、枯燥的，但也令我收獲了友情與知識；比賽也許是緊張、毫不留情的，單頁令我明白了”人外有人、天外有天“的道理，令我得到了鍛煉，提升了書評，有了與眾不同的經歷�；厥走^去，在我抱怨那次比賽的同時，我也逐漸開始享受比賽的刺激，體驗挑戰(zhàn)自我的樂趣，收獲成功的喜悅。成績并不重要，但我有了目標，我為之奮斗并收獲了成功，我超越了自己也取得了進步。這才是最重要的，它足以抹去那次比賽中我所承受的壓力與所有不愉快，足以令這次經歷成為美好的回憶。
