夏末英語日記

　　At the end of summer the sun changes its light, As a middle-aged man becomes less sharp and bright, Gone are all those exciting days of the season past.

　　在夏末之時,太陽改變了光線,正如一個中年男子變得不再那么犀利、生氣勃勃,所有那些令人興奮的日子已經(jīng)一去不復(fù)返。

　　Now the emotion is like back-to-school children, The distant hills present a touch of dark green, A few yellow leaves fall on the lawn1 like drifting canoes. The past events of either indulgence3 or laziness, Will be gradually forgotten from your diaries. Yet, September will have its wet and teary eyes, Not as clear and bright as the mid-summer ones.

　　現(xiàn)在的情緒就像返校的孩子們一樣,遠(yuǎn)處的山丘呈現(xiàn)出少許青綠,幾片枯黃的葉子如落在地上漂流的獨(dú)木舟。那些可以說是放縱也可以說是懶散的往事,將漸漸地從你的日記中被遺忘。然而,九月將會有雙濕潤的淚眼,不會像仲夏那樣清晰明亮。

　　After the growing and saturation4 of the last season, A thin autumn is waiting for our appreciation.
