　　solicit是什么意思：

　　v. 請(qǐng)求，懇求，乞求；征求；拉客

　　She was fined for soliciting.

　　她因拉客而被罰款。I solicit the favor of interview.

　　本人懇請(qǐng)惠予面試機(jī)會(huì)。Both the candidates solicited my vote.

　　兩位候選人都向我拉票。They were very solicitous and attentive to detail.

　　他們非常細(xì)心，十分注意細(xì)節(jié)。Our hero was very solicitous about his descendants.

　　們的主人公是非常關(guān)心他的子孫后代的。articles是什么意思：

　　n. 文章；論文；條款；物品；冠詞

　　v. 進(jìn)行控告，提出罪狀；簽訂協(xié)議；訂約將…收為學(xué)徒或見習(xí)生

　　carry an article

　　刊登一篇文章 It is a serious article.

　　這是一篇發(fā)人深省的文章。A Class III article if it is of the opinion that the article is obscene

　　如認(rèn)為該物品為色情物品，可評(píng)定為第Ⅲ類物品(grammar)either of the determiners `a/an'(the indefinite article)or `the'(the definite article)

　　冠詞(不定冠詞a/an或定冠詞the)The article is too long, it has to be cut.
